Power Management
This category allows the user to select the type (or degree) of power saving related to the following modes:
1.HDD Power Down
2.Doze Mode
3.Suspend Mode
There are four selections for Power Management, three of which have fixed mode settings.
Disable (default) | No power management. Disables all four modes |
Min. Power | • Minimum power management |
Saving | • Doze Mode = 1 hr. |
| • Standby Mode = 1 hr. |
| • Suspend Mode = 1 hr. |
| • HDD Power Down = 15 min. |
Max. Power | • Maximum power management |
Saving | FOR SL CPU’s |
| • Doze Mode = 1 min. |
| • Standby Mode = 1 min. |
| • Suspend Mode = 1 min. |
| • HDD Power Down = 1 min. |
User Defined | • Allows the user to set each mode individually. |
| • If it is not disabled, each of the ranges is from 1 min. to |
| 1 hr. except for HDD Power Down ranges from 1 min. to |
| 15 min. and disable. |
Video Off Method |

This determines the manner of how the monitor becomes blank.
V/H SYNC+Blank | This selection will cause the system to turn off the |
| vertical and horizontal synchronization ports and write |
| blanks to the video buffer. |
Blank Screen | This option only writes blanks to the video buffer. |
DPMS | Initial display power management signaling. |
Video Off In Suspend
This determines the manner in which the monitor is blanked.
The choice: Yes, No.
SuspendType
Defines the Suspend Type.
The choice: PWRON Suspend, Stop Grant.
Suspend Mode
If it is enabled and the power save time of system has met, all devices except the CPU will be shut off.
The choice: 1Min, 2Min, 4Min, 8Min, 12Min, 20Min, 30Min, 40Min, 1Hour, Disabled.
