b. A clamp or seal inside the pump compartment may be loose. Check inside the pump compart- ment for excess water and watch the pump unit while it is operating to see if water drips from any of the plumbing. If you can identify the location of the leak inside the spa jet unit, tight- en the clamp or replace the damaged seal.
10.SYMPTOM: THE SPA JET UNIT CONTINUES TO RUN AFTER IT HAS BEEN SHUT OFF
a.The spa jets are controlled with the jet button. If the button is pressed once, the spa jets will run at low speed. If the button is pressed again, the spa jets will run at high speed. If the button is pressed a third time, the jets will shut off. Note: If the actual temperature of the water in the spa is below the set temperature, or if the spa is running a filter cycle, the heater pump/motor will not shut off.
11.SYMPTOM: NO AIR FLOWS THROUGH THE ADJUSTABLE HYDROTHERAPY JETS WHEN THE AIR CONTROL IS TURNED COUNTER- CLOCKWISE
a.If no air flows through the hydrotherapy jets when the air control is turned counterclockwise, simply turn the rims of the jets counterclockwise.
Turning the rims clockwise will close the jets.
12.SYMPTOM: THE CONSOLE DISPLAYS THE WORDS “COOL” OR “ICE”
a.This is a normal function of the spa; no action is necessary. The word “COOL” will appear in the display if the temperature of the water is more than 20°F cooler than the set temperature. If this happens, the heater will automatically activate to warm the water. The word “ICE” will appear if the temperature drops below 40°F. If this happens, the pump will automatically circu- late the water and warm the plumbing.
