To pause a disc playing a movie:

1When playing a DVD, press to make playback pause.

2Pressing again advances the picture one frame at a time.

3To resume normal play, press (Play).

To pause a disc playing music:

1When playing a CD, press to make playback pause.

2Press (Play) to resume playback.

ADJUSTING THE PICTURE

Monitor

To adjust the picture:

1To adjust the brightness, press MONITOR to select the brightness

adjustment, then press the or buttons until a moderate brightness is selected.

2To adjust the color, press MONITOR to select the color adjustment

and press the or buttons until the desired color is selected.

3To select the display mode, press MONITOR to select display

mode and press the or buttons to select Full mode or Normal mode.

Note During playback, a few bright or dark spots may appear on the screen. This is a normal phenomenon in active matrix display technology and is not a malfunction.
