AStandby/On button (24)

This button is used to set the DPC-7.7 to On or Standby.

Don’t turn on the power until you’ve completed, and double checked all connections (page 24).

BStandby indicator (24)

This indicator lights up when the DPC-7.7 is in Standby mode.

CRandom button (37)

This button is used with the Random function.

DRepeat button (36)

This button is used with the Repeat function.

EDimmer button (33)

This button is used to adjust the display brightness and turn the disc tray light on or off.

FDisplay button (43)

This button is used to display information about the current disc, title, chapter, or track, including the elapsed time, remaining time, total time, and so on.

HRemote control sensor (16)

This sensor receives control signals from the remote controller.

IOpen/Close button (24, 25, 26)

This button is used to open and close the disc tray.

JPause button (27)

This button is used to pause playback.

KStop button (27)

This button is used to stop playback and to cancel Party mode.

LPlay button (27)

This button is used to start playback and to cancel fast forward and fast reverse.

MDisc tray (25)

The disc tray has six bays for loading up to six discs.

NDisc tray light

This light illuminates the disc tray. It comes on when the DPC-7.7 is turned on, and is brighter while the disc tray is open.

ODisc Skip button (25, 26)

This button is used to select the disc bays (i.e., rotate the disc tray) when loading or removing discs, and to select discs for playback.

PDown [] button (27, 29–31, 34)

This button is used to select the previous chapter or track. During playback it selects the beginning of the current track.

QUp [] button (27, 29–31, 34, 37)

This button is used to select the next chapter or track.

RParty Mode button (35)

This button is used with the Party mode function.
