Configuring the DPC-7.7

This chapter explains the various functions and settings of the onscreen setup menus.

Functions and settings are arranged into six menus: Picture, Audio, Language, Display, Operation Setting, and Initial. The following table lists all the functions and settings, with a brief description and page number where you can find full details.

	Progressive Setting	Set the component video output to progressive or interlaced.	46
	HD Resolution	Select the video resolution for the HDMI OUT.	46
	HD JPEG mode	For displaying JPEG images at a high resolution on a HDTV.	46
	Video Black Level	Choose a video black level.	47

	Dynamic Range Control	Set the Dynamic Range function.	47
Language	On-Screen Language	Select a language for the onscreen setup menus and mes-	48

	Disc Menu Language	Select your preferred language for disc menus.	48
	Audio Language	Select your preferred language for soundtracks.	48
	Subtitle Language	Select your preferred language for subtitles.	48
Display	On-Screen Display	Turn on or off onscreen messages and indicators.	48
	On-Screen Display Color	Select a color for onscreen setup menus and messages.	48
	Background	Select a background color for when playback is stopped.	48
	Screen Saver	Set the Screen Saver function.	48
Operation	Parental Lock	Set the Parental Lock function.	49
