LAN Subsystem

The Dual Gigabit (10/100/1000 Mb/s) LAN subsystem includes:

•Intel ICH10R

•Intel 82567LF Gigabit Ethernet LAN Controller

•Intel 82574L Gigabit Ethernet LAN Controller

•Two RJ-45 LAN connectors with integrated status LEDs

The subsystem features:

•CSMA/CD protocol engine

•LAN connect interface between ICH10R and the Intel 82567LF Gigabit Ethernet LAN Controller

•PCI bus power management

Two LEDs are built into each RJ-45 LAN connector located on the back panel (see Figure 2). These LEDs indicate the status of the LAN.
