1.10 Audio Subsystem

The audio subsystem consists of the following devices:

•Intel 82801GB ICH7

•Realtek ALC662 audio codec

The audio subsystem includes these features:

•Signal-to-noise ratio ≥ 90 dB

•Supports wake events (driver dependent)

•Mic in pre-amp that supports dynamic, condenser, and electret microphones

The audio subsystem supports the following audio interfaces:

•S/PDIF connector

•Front panel audio header, including pins for:

•Back panel audio connectors:

NOTE

Systems built with an AC 97 front panel will not be able to obtain the Microsoft Windows Vista* logo.
