5.4Waist Strap
The waist strap is a positioning guide only. The strap is not designed for use as a safety device or as a restraint. The strap MUST be washed and disinfected after each use. Refer to Cleaning and Disinfecting on page 21.
Installation
On each end of the waist strap, insert the lead into the round portion of the slot in the attachment point, slide the lead up and turn it.
Use
1.Bring both ends of the waist strap around the resident. Secure the ends together with the plastic clasp.
2.Adjust the straps for comfort as necessary.
