IMPORTANT: Incorrect wiring connections can damage the unit. Follow the wiring instructions carefully, or have the installation handled by an experienced technician.

Connecting the Data Cable

The 15-foot data cable connects the CD changer to the radio. First, connect the right-angle connector end of the data cable to the 8-pin socket on the back of the changer. Route the straight-connector end of the cable up to the instrument panel near your existing radio. Plug the data cable into the 8-pin mating socket on the radio. When routing wires and cables from the changer to the radio, it is best to conceal the wires.

Conectando el Cable de Datos

El cable de datos de 15 pies (4,5 metros) conecta el cambiador de CD con el radio. Resetting the Unit / Reiniciando la Unidad / Reréglé l'appareil

After completing all connections, press the RESET button on the commander unit (see “Using the Reset Button” on page 16).

Reconnecting the Battery / Reconectando la Batería / Rebranchez la Pile

When wiring is complete, reconnect the battery negative terminal.

Cuando el cableado se complete, reconecte el terminal negativo de la batería. Lorsque le câblage est terminé, rebranchez le terminal pile négatif.
