230 Volt Operation
If 230V, single phase operation is desired, the fol lowi ng instructions must be followed:
1. Disco nnect the machin e f rom the power sou rce.
2. This JE T sander is supplied with four motor leads t hat are connected for 115V oper ation, as shown i n
Figure A. Rec onnec t these four motor leads for 230V operation, as shown i n Figure B.
3. The 115V attachm ent plug (A) , suppl ied wi th the sander, must be r eplaced with a UL/CSA list ed plug
suit able f or 230V oper ation (D). Contact y our local Authorized JET S er vice Center or quali fi ed
electri c ian f or pr oper pr oc edures to install the plug. The sander must c omply with all local and
national codes after t he 230 volt pl ug is installed.
4. The sander with a 230 volt plug should only be connected to an outlet having the same conf iguration
(D). No adapter i s avai lable or shoul d be used wit h the 230 volt plug.
Important: In all cases (115 or 230 volts), make certain the receptacle in question is properly grounded.
