Ecological hints
To save water and energy and help protect the environment, we recommend that you follow these hints:
•Ensure that the water softener is correctly adjusted.
•Do not prewash under running water.
•Select the washing programme to suit the nature and degree of the soil on the dishes.
•Do not use more detergent, dishwasher salt and rinse aid than is recommended in these operating instructions and by the manufacturer of the respective product.
•Delay start: When possible set your appliance to run over night, to enable, for example, the use of economical overnight electricity tariffs.
•45° - 70° Auto Programme: This appliance is fitted with a turbidity sensor which intelligently adjusts the temperature and rinsing phases during the washing programme, depending on the degree of soil on the dishes. This helps to reduce energy and water consumption on lightly soiled loads.
•Energy save: This function decreases the temperature in the drying phase. The power consumption is reduced by 25%
Environmental information
The packaging materials are environmentally friendly and can be recycled. The plastic components are identified by markings (e.g. >PE<, >PS<) . Please dispose of the packaging materials in the appropriate container at the community waste disposal facilities.
When a unit is no longer being used:
• Pull the mains plug out of the mains socket.
•Cut off the mains cable and the mains plug and dispose of them.
•Dispose of the door catch. This prevents children from trapping themselves inside and endangering their lives.
