REPLACEMENT OF MEMORY ICs

1. MEMORY ICs

This mod el u ses memo ry ICs. Thi s me mory IC da ta ar e for pro per oper ati on of th e vide o and defl ectio n cir cuits .
When r eplac ing me mory ICs , be su re to us e ICs w ritt en wi th the ini tial v alu es of data.

2. PROCEDURE FO R REPLACING MEMORY IC s

(1) Power off
Switch the p ower off an d di sco nnect the power pl ug from the wall outl et.
(2) Replace ICs
Be sure to use memory ICs written with the initial data values.
(3) Power on
Connect th e power plu g int o the wall outl et and swi tch t he po wer on .
(4) Check and s et SYST EM CO NSTANT SET

・It must not adjust without adjustment signals.
1) Press the DISPLA Y ke y and the PICTURE MODE key of the REMOTE
CONTROL UNIT simultaneously.
2) The SERVICE MENU screen of Fig. 1 will be displayed.
3) While the SE RVICE M ENU is dis played, ag ain press t he DISPLAY key and
PICTURE MODE ke y simul taneous ly, an d the S YSTEM C ONSTANT SET
screen of Fi g. 2 w ill b e di spla yed.
4) Check th e setting v alues of th e SYSTEM C ONSTANT SET of Tabl e 1 If the
value is diff erent, select th e setting ite m with the MENU ▼/▲key, and set
the co rrect valu e wit h the MENU - / + key.
5) Press the DISPLAY key tw ice, and r eturn to th e nor mal scree n.
(5) Receive channel of setting
Refer to the OPERATI NG INSTRUCTIONS an d set the rece ive chann els
(channe ls pr ese t) as descr ibed
(6) User Setting
Check the user set ting val ue of Tab le 2, and if setting value is di fferen t, set
the co rrect valu e.
For setting , refer to the OPER ATING INSTRUCTIONS .
(7) Setting of SERVICE MENU
Verif y the s etti ng it ems of th e SER VICE ME NU, and r eset wher e neces sar y.
For setting , refer to the SERVICE ADJUSTMENTS.
