GRID

Grid shows you television listings on an easy-to-read, interactive display. By highlighting a program, you can get a brief summary of that show, with information including the V-Chip rating. Highlight a station and view what shows will be playing on that for the entire day. You can also command your VCR to tape a program with the push of a single button.

Press the GUIDE/TV Button

A Grid listing the television programs for your area will appear. The listings will begin with the half hour block closest to the current time (for example at 8:03pm the display will start with the 8:00pm listings). Listings will be available for three days into the future. You can move to different times or stations using the arrow keys on your remote control.

To move to the next or previous half-hour time block

To move to the next or previous station listing

You can also move directly to a channel's listing by entering the channel number with the 10-key pad.

Input the channel number (i.e. 13) and press Enter

As you move to different stations, they will appear in the PIP window. You may also view the entire day's listings for a specific channel. To view one channel's listings highlight a program from that channel on the program- ming grid.

Press the INFO Button

A listing of the day's programming on that channel will appear. To return to the programming grid, press INFO again.

You can also "lock" the PIP window, so that it remains set on one channel as you scan through the listings menu.

Move to the network logo column

To move to the channel you want locked in the PIP window.

Press the BLUE Button

Direct Entry Note: If you have a cable box which has two inputs (A and B), after inputting a channel number, you must select the propper input (A or B) with the arrow keys, then press enter.

PIP will remain on the selected channel as you move through the listings menu. To unlock the PIP window, move back to the network column and press the BLUE button again.

Once you have found a program you would.like to watch, you can tune directly to that channel.

Press the ENTER Button

The television will leave the programming grid and tune to the highlighed channel.
