Messages may sometimes be received by your GUIDE Plus+ GOLD system. These messages may contain information about the operation of your GUIDE Plus+ GOLD system. They may be read from this menu option.

Press the GUIDE/TV Button

Press the MENU Button to access the toolbar

To Messages

A grid will appear listing all the messages you have received.

To move through the message list

The text of the highlighted message will be dis- played in the summary window.

Note: If no messages have been received, this screen will be blank.

You may delete messages once you have read them. Highlight the message you wish to delete from the message list.

Press the REMOVE (BLUE) Button

Note: The television will come from the factory with one message already in its memory. This is the GUIDE Plus+ GOLD ID number for your specific television. Because this number may be needed for future reference, this message cannot be deleted.

Once you have finished reading your messages, you have two options:

Press the MENU Button to access the toolbar

Press the GUIDE/TV Button to return to normal television viewing.
