Reserving Karaoke Songs

—Karaoke Program Play

You can determine the playback order of the titles or tracks on the DVD/SVCD/VCD/CD player. You can program up

to 12 steps.

You cannot use reserve function when a SVCD or VCD with the PBC function is played back. Press 7 before performing below procedure.

When playing back a DVD, you can only reserve titles on the disc.

On the remote control ONLY:

1 Press RESERVE while holding down SHIFT.

The karaoke reserve screen appears on the

2 Press one of the disc number buttons (DVD 1, DVD 2 or DVD 3) you want to program while holding down SHIFT .

The selected disc number is shown on the TV screen.

3 Press the number buttons

to enter a title or track number you want to program.

The selected title or track number is shown on the TV screen.

Ex.: To select number 5, press 5. To select number 10, press 10.

To select number 20, press +10 then 10.

To select number 23, press +10, +10 then 3.

• PRGM indicator also flashes on the display.

4 To program another title or track from the same disc, repeat step 3.

To program another title or track from a different disc, repeat steps 2 and 3.

Each time you select a title or track, the program item is added up to 12 steps.

5 Press V. MASK while

holding down SHIFT.

 

The karaoke ( ) indicator lights up on the display.

6 Press DVD 3.

The titles and tracks are played in the order you have programed.

A title or track which has finished played back is deleted from the reserved program. The play is stops after playing back all reserved

program and the PRGM indicator goes from the display.

To modify the program

You can modify the program before or after playing.

To erase a reserved steps, press CANCEL while holding down SHIFT.

Each time you press the buttons, the last programmed step is erased from the program.

To add steps in the reserve program before playing, press Cursor 3 or 2 to move to a number you like to add, then select the disc and title/track numbers by following steps 2 and 3 before or after playing.

To erase program completely before playing, press

CLEAR when the playback is stopped.

The program you have made will be also erased,

when you remove all the discs, and then press DVD 3.

when you unplug the AC power cord.

when a power failure occurs.

To check the programed contents

Press RESERVE while holding down SHIFT. The programed contents appear on the TV screen.

To erase the karaoke reserve screen, press RESERVE while holding down SHIFT again. The program you have made is memorized.

To exit from Karaoke Program play mode, press 7 and

then PROGRAM on the unit twice.

If you do not press DVD 3 in step 6,

The normal play continues.
