Preset Download

before you start

Press the obutton. The display panel on the front of the VCR will show the word ‘Auto’. Press the Aor Bbuttons to select

what will happen? The VCR is automatically setting up the tuner channels by downloading from your TV, clock and the VIDEO Plus+ system assigned Guide Program numbers. During downloading, preset position on the display panel increases from “CH1”.

SET THE VIDEO CHANNEL TO OFF

When Preset Download has finished, ‘COM- PLETED’ appears on the TV screen. Press oto turn off the VCR. Press and hold down Son the VCR until you will see the display on the

right. Press PR Button on the Remote Control until the figure reads ‘– –’.

•In areas where no TV station transmits the PDC signal, the VCR cannot setup either the clock or Guide Program numbers.

•On this VCR, the characters available for station names (ID) are A–Z, 0–9, –,

*, + and (space). The names of some downloaded stations may differ from those on your TV.
