5Press the green or red button repeatedly until the TV channel you want appears

If the TV channel reception is poor:

Press the blue or yellow button to fine- tune the TV channel.

If you cannot hear the normal sound even when the picture of the TV channel appears normally:

The SYSTEM setting is wrong. Press the 3button and choose a SYSTEM that has normal sound.

6Press the a button and register the TV channel to a Programme number (PR)

The normal EDIT menu is resumed.

LANGUAGE

The LANGUAGE setting which was performed in the “Initial settings” (page 6) can be changed.

1Choose LANGUAGE, then press the aor 3button

A sub-menu of the LANGUAGE function appears.

PICTURE TILT

There are cases where the Earth’s magnetic force may make the picture tilt or make unnatural colours appear in the corner of the screen. If this happens, you can correct it.

1Choose PICTURE TILT, then press the a or 3button

The sub-menu of the PICTURE TILT function appears.

DECODER (EXT-2)

When connecting a Decoder with a T-V LINK compatible VCR connected to the EXT-2 terminal, use the DECODER (EXT-

2)function to unscramble the scrambled TV channels.

1Turn on the Decoder power

2Display the TV channel capable of being unscrambled with the Decoder on the TV

Even if the Decoder is functioning, a scrambled picture appears at this time.

3Display the SET UP menu and choose DECODER (EXT-2)
