Prohibiting MD ejection

To play back only intros (Intro Scan)

Each time you press INT (Intro) briefly while playing a MD,MD intro scan INT mode turns on and off alternately.

When the intro scan mode is turned on, “INTRO” appears on the display for 5 seconds and the track number flashes. The first 15 seconds of each track are played sequentially.

You can prohibit the MD ejection and can “lock” an MD in the loading slot.

While holding MD/CD, press and hold for more than 2 seconds. “NO EJECT” flashes on the display for about 5 seconds, and the MD is “locked” and cannot be ejected.

To cancel the prohibition and “unlock” the MD, press and hold again for more

than 2 seconds, while holding MD/CD. “EJECT OK” appears on the display, and the MD is “unlocked.”
