“No Files” appears for a while, then the disc ejects.

] The current MP3/WMA disc does not contain any MP3/WMA tracks.

“No Music” appears.

] No MP3/WMA tracks are included in the folder. Skip the folder.

] Only <jll> and/or <jla> files are recorded on the disc.

Correct characters are not displayed (ex. album name).

] This unit can only display a limited number of special characters (see the tables on page 48).

Graphics

Download does not seem to finish.

] If you are trying to download an animation of many frames, it takes a quite long time (see page 48).

Animation does not move.

] Temperature in the car compartment is

very low— appears. Wait until the operating temperature resumes—until goes off.

The entire animation has not been downloaded.

] “OPENING” and “ENDING” can only memorize 30 frames of the animation even it includes 90 frames.

Preferred Setting Modes—PSM

“Movie” category settings in the PSM do not take effect.

] Temperature in the car compartment is

“Opening” and “Ending” cannot be selected.

] If “KeyIn CFM” is set to “Off,” you cannot select them.

You cannot select an image for “UserPict.” (“---------” appears for the file name on the lower part of the display.)

]You can select an image only after downloading the appropriate files in memory.

External component operations

The external component you want is not selected for the playback source.

] Select the appropriate source for the “Ext Input” setting.

CD changer operations

“No Magazine” flashes.

] Magazine is not loaded in the CD changer.

“No Disc” flashes.

] No discs are in the magazine or the discs are inserted upside down.

“Reset 01” — “Reset 07” flashes.

] The built-in microcomputer in the CD changer is malfunctioning. Press the reset button of the CD changer.

“Reset 08” flashes.

] This unit is not connected to a CD changer correctly. Connect this unit and the CD changer correctly and press the reset button of the CD changer.

About mistracking:

Mistracking may result from driving on extremely rough roads. This does not damage the unit and the disc, but will be annoying.

It is recommend to stop disc play while driving on such rough roads.
