Playing back sound from an iPod

Changing the time when the backlight turns onPress [DISPLAY] repeatedly.

Each time you press [DISPLAY], the setting changes in the display window as follows.

-“B.LIGHT1”

Turns on the backlight for approximately 30 seconds after a button is pressed to operate the iPod.

-“B.LIGHT2”

The backlight stays on.

The backlight setting of this system has priority over the “Backlight” setting on the iPod.

Charging the battery of the connected iPod

The main unit can charge an iPod battery when the connected iPod is selected as the source.

1 Press [SETTING] repeatedly to select “IPod PWR” in the display window.

2 Press [LEVEL +] or [LEVEL –] repeatedly to select “IPod: ON” in the display window.

Each time you press [LEVEL +] or [LEVEL –], the battery charging function turns on and off.

When you want to deactivate the battery charging function, select “IPod: OFF”.

Notes on an iPod

JVC is not responsible for any loss of data on an iPod when used with this system.

This system can receive sound from the follow- ing iPod models.

-iPod touch

-iPod classic

-iPod 5th generation

-iPod 4th generation

-iPod nano (1st/2nd/3rd generation)

-iPod mini (1st/2nd generation)
