Viewfinder Indications During
Playback

Warning Indications

	Displays the battery remaining power.
	Remaining power level: high

	Appears for approx. 10 seconds after power is turned on. Also blinks when the clock
	(lithium) battery is either not installed or has discharged. Install or replace the old

LENS COVER	Blinks for approx. 5 seconds when power is turned on with the lens cover closed.

TAPE!	Appears for 10 seconds after power is turned on if there is no tape loaded.
TAPE END	Appears when the tape ends during recording or playback.			(☞ pg. 15)
SET DATE/TIME!	● Appears when the date/time is not set.				(☞ pg. 9)
	● Appears when the clock (lithium) battery is discharged and the previously set date/
	time is erased.				(☞ pg. 9)
	The error indications (E01 — E06) show what type of malfunction has occured. When
E01 — E06	an error indication appears, the camcorder turns off automatically. Remove the power
	supply (battery, etc.), clock battery and wait a few minutes for the indication to clear.
	When it does, you can resume using the camcorder. If the indication remains, consult
	your nearest JVC dealer.			(☞ pg. 60)
