Program Dubbing (From DVD to VCR)

1 Load a disc you want to dub on the DVD deck, and a cassette

with the record safety tab intact on the VCR deck.

Dubbing The Desired Programs On A Disc

2 Press VCR}DVD to select the dubbing direction. The dubbing

(DUBB.) lamp lights up on the unit.

D Press w e to select the desired program, then press MEMO.

Select the programs in the order that you want them to be dub. The

 

 

numbers of the playback order appear on the index. You can select

 

 

VCR/DVD MODE DUBB. VCR } DVD

 

 

 

up to 30 programs.

 

 

 

If you have specified a wrong selection, press MEMO. The number

 

 

 

disappears.

 

 

 

When you want to clear all the numbers, press CLEAR (8).

 

 

 

4 Press 4 to locate the point where you want dubbing to start,

 

 

 

then press 9 to pause playback.

 

 

 

5 Prepare the VCR deck for dubbing.

Playback on the DVD deck and recording on the VCR deck starts at the same time.

When all the selected programs have been dubbed, playback on the DVD deck and recording on the VCR deck stops automatically at the same time. Press VCR}DVD to turn off the dubbing (DUBB.) lamp.

NOTES:

The program memory remains even after dubbing is completed. To clear the memory, access the Library Database DVD Navi screen and press CLEAR (8).

When locating the point where you want dubbing to start, be sure to press 4 then press 9. There should be at least a one-second interval when pressing these two buttons.

If you do not want the superimposed indication to be recorded, set “SUPERIMPOSE” to “OFF” before dubbing. ( pg. 59)
