This unit is designed to use the NTSC system.

Any other discs than listed above (CD-ROM, Photo CD, etc.) cannot be played. Playing back such discs may generate noise and damage speakers.

Sound of CD-G discs are playable but pictures are unplayable.

Do not play back CD-R discs. Playing back a CD-R disc may damage the contents of the disc.

What are title, chapter and track?

A DVD disc comprises “titles,” while an audio CD or video CD comprises “tracks.” Each title may be divided into some “chapters.” For example, if a disc contains some movies, each movie may have its own title number, and each movie may be divided into some chapters. In a karaoke disc, each song usually has its own title number and does not have chapters. In general, each title has an independent content, while each chapter in the same title has continuity.
