You can see the total disc time in the on-screen display and the front panel display while the disc is stopped.

Accessing the PBC function

1.Press ON SCREEN while the disc is stopped. The on-screen display appears.

2.Move to “TIME SELECT” using / .

3.Press ENTER/SELECT until “TOTAL REMAIN” is selected as the display time mode.

*During playback, the elapsed time of the current track is displayed regardless of the setting above.

When the XV-1000BK is playing back a video CD without using the PBC (Playback Control) function (such cases include playback of the track specified with the numeric keys), you can go into the PBC mode by two methods.

Method 1:
