If the information in two points above is notfollowed exactly, afire causing death or seriousinjury may occur.• An over filled or improperly stored cylinder isahazard due to possible gas release from the safetyrelief valve. This could cause an intense fire withrisk of property damage, serious injury or death. If you see, smell or hear gas escaping, immediatelyget away from the LP cylindedappliance and callyour fire department.
LP Tank Removal, Transport And Storage
• Turn OFF all control knobs and LP tank valve. Turn coupling
nutcounterclockwise by hand only - do not use tools to
disconnect. Lift LP tank wire upward off of LP tank collar, then
lift LP tank up and offof support bracket. Install safety cap onto
LPtank valve. Always use cap and strap supplied with valve.
Failure to use safety cap as directed may result in serious
personal injury and/or property damage.

• A disconnected LPtank instorage orbeing transported must
havea safety cap installed (as shown). Do notstore an LP tank
in enclosed spaces such asa carport, garage, porch, covered
patioor other building. Never leavean LP tank inside a vehicle
which may become overheated bythe sun.
• Do not store an LP tank inan area where children play.

*The LP tank used with your grill must meet the following
requirements:
*UseLP tanksonly with these required measurements: 12"
(30.5cm)(diameter) x 18" (45.7 cm) (tall) with 20 lb. (9 kg.)
capacity maximum.
•LPtanks must beconstructed and marked in accordance with
specifications for LP tank ofthe U.S.Department of
Transportation (DOT). See LP tank collarfor marking.
*LPtank valve must have:
,Type 1 outlet compatible with
regulatoror grill.
,Safety relief valve.
,UL listed Overfill Protection OPDHandWheel
Device(OPD). This OPD safety
feature is identified bya unique triangular hand wheel. Use
only LPtanks equipped with this type of valve.
•LPtank must be arranged for vapor withdrawal and include
collarto protect LP tank valve.

LP (Liquefied Petroleum Gas)
*LPgas is nontoxic, odorless and colorless when produced. For
Your Safety, LP gas hasbeen given an odor (similar to rotten
cabbage)so that it can be smelled.
*LPgas is highly flammable and mayignite unexpectedly when
mixedwith air.
LP Tank Filling
*Useonly licensedand experienceddealers.
*LPdealer must purgetank before filling.
*Dealershould NEVER fill LP tank more than80% of LP tank
volume.Volume of propane in tank will vary by temperature.
*Afrosty regulator indicates gas overfill. Immediatelyclose LP
tank valve and call local LPgas dealer for assistance.
,Do not release liquid propane (LP) gas into the atmosphere.

,Toremove gas from LP tank, contact an LPdealer orcall a
localfire department for assistance. Check the telephone
