1. Doesthe time displayshowthe correct Ume ofday?.
...If display is blank, check power source to the
soRener.
...If time isflashing, powerwas off for over 6 hours.

2. Plumbing bypass valve(s) mustbe in Full Service
position.
3. Theinletand outletpipesmust connect tothe softener
inletand outletrespectively.
4. Isthe transformerpluggedintoa qive", groundedwall
outlet,and the power cablefastened securely?

5. The valve drainhose must befree of Idnksand sharp
bends,and notelevated over 8 ft. abovethe floor.
REMOVE THE TOPCOVER ANDSALT TANKCOVER

7. Is the brine tubing connected? (See water flow
diagrams).
8. Isthe brinevalve floatset right?(See page 22).
9, Pressthe SELECT button 2 times to displaythe
hardnesssetting.Besureitisthe correct settingforthe
households watersupply.(Make8hardnesstestof the
rawwaterandcompere withthe hardnesssetUng.Also
testa soft water sampieto verify ifa problemexlsts.]l
PressSELECT 3 times to ratumthe present time
display.
