For this model, the AUTO RECHARGE dis-
play must show. If anything otherthan AUTO
shows, press a UP or DOWN button until it
does show.

c. While in this diagnostic screen, the following
information is available and may be beneFI-
cial for various reasons. This information is
retained by the computer from the first time
electrical power is applied to the face plate.

face plate has had electrical power applied.
...Press _o display the number of regenera-
'donsinitiated by this face plate since the SR
code number was entered.
2. Press Select to advance to the following

This setting controls the length of the back-
wash cycle (regularrecharge backwash, and
theCLEAN feature backwash if setto ON). A
longerbackwash isbeneficial ifsupply water
is dirty, or contains iron. The time is adjust-
able up to 5 minutes. Use the UP or DOWN
buttonto set.
3. The next press of the SELECT button dis-
plays an AUTO RECHARGE screen.
At this setting, display times are shown in
standard clock time. If set to 24 hr, usingthe
UP or DOWN button, display times will be in
military time, 0100 (1:00 AM) to 0000 (mid-
night).
5. Press the SELECT button and hold 3 se-
conds until...
...SC21 shows.

Thiscode identifies the softener nominal capac-
itysize. Ifthe wrong number shows, the softener
will operate on incorrect programming. Do the
followingas needed.
RETURN THE PRESENT TIME DISPLAY -press
the SELECT button.
(_HANGE THE SR NUMBER - press the UP or
DOWN button to display correct number;, press
SELECT, and reset the timer.
