1.Make the preparations for recording.

1Open the write protect tab of the MD to make it recordable.

2Load the MD.

The MD cannot be loaded or ejected while the unit is in standby mode. Do not force load a MD in standby mode, otherwise malfunction will result.

Basic

Select an input source other than "MD"

Example:

To select the DVD/CD input

2.Select the source to be recorded.

DVD (MP3, VCD, CD) : Press the DVD/CD 6key.

TUNER (Broadcasts) : Press the TUNER/BAND key.

AUX (Analog) :

Press the AUX key repeatedly until "AUX" is displayed.

DIGITAL AUX (Digital) :

Press the AUX key repeatedly until "DIGITAL AUX" is displayed.

The character information display shows

the recording input source.

 

÷When DVD/CD 6 or MD 6 is selected, playback will start when a disc already has been inserted. Press the STOP7/TUNING MODE key to stop it.

÷Recording of digital audio is possible only when the "CD" or "DIGITAL AUX" source is selected. Also, even with these sources, the digital audio output may be unable to be recorded due to the restriction by SCMS. (It is only the

analog audio that can be recorded when recording DVD Video, VCD or MP3 file playback on MD.) c

Even when the CD contains the recording of CD-TEXT data, the data is not copied onto the MD.
