EON reservation
By using the EON function which administers the information of other stations, you can reserve the desired information such as traffic an- nouncement, news and so on, even though these types of programs are not currently broadcast. While listening to a station which makes the EON indicator light, the tuner automatically selects the station which starts broadcasting the program of the desired information.

If the RDS automatic memory function is already set, skip this procedure.
÷If all the 40 stations are MANUAL PRESET according to the procedure in "Storing broadcast stations in memory", the EON function will not work. Be sure to use the RDS automatic memory function.

As long as the power is turned on with the program which makes the EON and RDS indicators light tuned in, the tuner waits for the program of the desired information to start.
÷If you wish to cancel TA/NEWS while listening to a EON reservation broadcast, press the TA/NEWS key.
÷If you press the BAND key while receiving the broadcast of your choice, EON reservation will be cancelled.
÷Even if you switch over the input selector of the amplifier connected with the system control cord while receiving the broadcast of your choice, EON reservation will not be cancelled.
÷When a EON reservation broadcast is received, the ACTIVE RECEP- TION will not work. RF ATT functions will be turned OFF.
When the "TP" indicator is lit, this means that the presently received station or a station in the same network is transmitting traffic information. When "TP" is displayed for the station being received, the traffic information of this station can be received without EON reservation.
