Dividing a track
Use the following procedure to divide a track into two. The track numbers are adjusted automatically.

1Load a prerecorded MD and se- lect the MD input by pressing MD 6key.
2Press the 4or ¢key repeat- edly to select the track number to be divided.
The track will be played back.
3To find the dividing point, press the MD EDIT key and press 4 or ¢ key repeatedly to select “TRACK EDIT”, then press the SET key.
Press 4 or ¢ key to select “3DIVIDE ?”.

4Press the SET key again.
5Press the 4or ¢key repeat- edly to select the point where you want to divide the track, and
press the SET key.
The audio of the 2 seconds around it will be played repeatedly.
Adjust while listening to the repeated audio.

If you want to divide the track at another point, press MD EDIT key to cancel the DIVIDE operation then restart the procedure from step 2.
