Erasing several tracks at a time
Use the following procedure to select up to 32 tracks you want to erase and erase them together. The track numbers are adjusted automatically.

Remote control unit only
1Load a prerecorded MD and select the MD input by pressing MD 6 key.
If the MD is already playing, press the 7STOP key to stop playback.
2Press the MD EDIT key and press 4 or ¢key to select “TRACK
EDIT”, then press the SET key.
Press 4 or ¢ key to select “3Q. ERASE?”, then press the
SET key again.

3Press the 4or ¢key repeat- edly to select the track number to erased, and press the SET key.
Select other tracks to be erased by repeating this step for each track.
Select “ALL ERASE” if you want to erase all tracks in an MD.

If you make a mistake, press the CLEAR/DELETE key to clear the track number and restart selection.
4After selecting all of the tracks to be erased, press the ENTER key.
