Section IV: Operating the Kenwood Music Keg With Your Kenwood Head Unit
The Music Keg is controlled through the CD changer controls of your existing Kenwood head unit. To the head unit, the Music Keg appears like a large CD Changer. Playback of MP3 files is controlled via the next/previous track and next/previous disc buttons on the head unit.
Setting the audio mode
To use the Music Keg, you must first put the head unit into CD changer mode. Push the “SRC” button on your Kenwood Head Unit until the display reads “DISC”.
Navigating the songs in a playlist
After the head unit is set to CD Changer mode, you can navigate the songs in a Music Keg playlist by using the next/previous track buttons.
