LOADING YOUR

DISHWASHER

Loading Suggestions

Remove leftover food, bones, toothpicks and other hard items from the dishes. It is not necessary to rinse the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. The wash module removes food particles from the water. The module contains a chopping device which will reduce the size of food items.

NOTE: If hard items such as fruit seeds, nuts, and egg shells enter the wash module, you might hear chopping, grinding, crunching, or buzzing sounds. These sounds are normal when hard items enter the module. Do not let metallic items (such as pot handle screws) get into the wash module. Damage can occur.

Load dishes so soiled surfaces face the spray (down or inward). It is important for the water spray to reach all soiled surfaces.

Load dishes so they are not stacked or overlapping if possible. For best drying, water must be able to drain from all surfaces.

Load heavy pots and pans carefully. Heavy items can dent the stainless steel interior of the door if they are dropped or bumped.

Make sure pot lids and handles, pizza pans, cookie sheets, etc., do not interfere with the spray arm rotation.

Run a rinse cycle to keep dishes moist if you do not plan to wash them soon. Foods like eggs, rice, pasta, spinach, and cooked cereals may be hard to remove if they are left to dry over a period of time.

Quiet operating tips

To avoid thumping/clattering noises during operation:

Make sure lightweight load items are secured in the racks.

Make sure pot lids and handles, pizza pans, cookie sheets, etc., do not touch interior walls or interfere with the rotation of the spray arm.

Load dishes so they do not touch one another.

NOTE: For built-in models, keep sink drain plugs closed during dishwasher operation to prevent noise transfer through drains.

KitchenAid has long been a trusted name in home appliances, known for combining style with performance. The KitchenAid KUDS25SH and KUDC25CH dishwashers epitomize this philosophy, offering a blend of advanced technology and practical features designed to enhance the dishwashing experience.

Starting with design, both models feature a sleek, modern aesthetic that can seamlessly integrate into any kitchen environment. The stainless steel finish not only contributes to a sophisticated look but also offers durability and resistance to fingerprints, ensuring that your dishwasher maintains its immaculate appearance over time.

One of the standout features of the KitchenAid KUDS25SH and KUDC25CH is their efficient cleaning performance. Equipped with a powerful, direct-drive motor, these models utilize a dynamic wash system that ensures thorough cleaning of even the most stubborn messes. The triple filtration system also plays a crucial role in optimizing performance by reducing food particles and ensuring every cycle delivers sparkling clean dishes.

Another noteworthy technology is the ProWashâ„¢ cycle, which intelligently adjusts the cycle based on the soil level of the dishes. This means whether you have heavy pots and pans or just lightly soiled glasses, the dishwasher tailors the wash for optimal results. Adding to convenience, the models come with a delay start feature, allowing users to set the dishwasher to start at a more convenient time, often during off-peak energy hours.

In terms of flexibility, the height-adjustable upper rack offers versatility for larger items, ensuring maximum loading capacity without sacrificing cleanliness. Additionally, the innovative Clean Water Wash System provides consistently clean water for washing, enhancing efficiency and reducing the need for rinsing before loading.

Noise levels are also a consideration for these models. The quiet operation, rated at 47 dBA, ensures that users can run their dishwasher at any time without disturbing the household, a feature that is particularly appreciated in open-concept kitchen designs.

Overall, the KitchenAid KUDS25SH and KUDC25CH dishwashers stand out with their combination of stylish design, effective cleaning technologies, and user-friendly features, making them an excellent choice for anyone looking to enhance their kitchen efficiency and aesthetics.
