3. Press DELAY HOURS 1 time for a 2-hour delay, 2 times
for a 4-hour delay, or 3 times for a 6-hour delay start.
The number glows above Delay Hours. The dishwasher
starts the cycle in the selected number of hours.
4. Press START.
NOTE: To cancel the delay, press DELAY HOURS until no
number is lit.
IMPORTANT:
■Operate your dishwasher only when you are at home.
■If your home is equipped with a water softener, do not
start the dishwasher during the regeneration of the
softener.
Control Panel Lights

Cycle Monitor

Follow the progress of your dishwasher cycles on the
Cycle Monitor. CLEAN glows when a cycle is finished. All
other lights turn off. The light turns off when you o pen the
door or press Cancel.

Water Hea tin g

WATER HEATING glows, and the cycle progression
pauses, whenever water is heated during a cycle.
Wash or rinse action continues as the water heats.

Sensing

Your dishwasher senses the soil level on the dishes. Soil
level determines the length of some cycles, the a mount of
heat added to a wash or rinse, and the cycle needed for
the load.
SENSING glows during the soil sensing parts of the cycle.
Wash action continues while sensing occurs.

Child Lock

Use Child Lock to prevent your dishwashe r from
accidentally being turned on. Use Child Lock, also, to
prevent accidental cycle or option changes during a cycle.
When CHILD LOCK is lit, all buttons are disa bled.
NOTES:
■The dishwasher door can be opened while the controls
are locked.
■You can turn on the Lock while the dishwasher is
running.
To turn on the Child Lock
Press and hold
for 4 seconds. CHILD LOCK glows.
If you press any pad while your dishwasher is locked, the
light flashes 3 times.
To turn off the Child Lock
Press and hold ENERGY SAVER DRY for 4 seconds. The
light turns off.

Rinse Aid Empty

Fill the Rinse aid dispenser when RINSE AID EMPTY is lit.
A rinse aid prevents water from forming droplets that can
dry as spots or streaks.
If the rinse Aid dispenser is empty, the l ight glows when
you select a cycle or while a cycle is running.

Sani-Rinse Completed

If you select the Sani-Rinse option, SANI-RINSE
COMPLETED glows when the Sani-Rinse cycle is finished.
If your dishwasher did not properly sanitize your dish es,
the light flashes at the end of the cycle. This can happen if
the cycle is interrupted. The light goes off when you op en
the door.
