Setting Long Time Exposure

Use Long Time Exposure to control how long the shutter stays open. Settings are: None, 0.7, 1, 1.5, 2, 3, and 4 seconds.

NOTE: Long Time Exposure cannot be used with Exposure Compensation.

1To avoid blurry pictures, place the camera on a flat, steady surface or use a tripod.

2In any Still mode, press the Menu button.

3Press to highlight Long Time Exposure, then press the OK button.

4Press to highlight an option.

5Press the OK button to accept the change.

6Press the Menu button to exit the menu.

7Use the camera screen to frame your subject. Press the Shutter button half-wayto set the focus, then continue pressing completely down to take the picture.

This setting remains until you change the Mode dial or turn off the camera.

Available flash settings:

Auto, Flash Off, Fill Flash, Red-eye

 

 

Default flash setting:

Off

 

 

Camera returns to default:

When you change the mode dial or turn off

 

the camera.
