Troubleshooting

 

 

If...

Try one or more of the following

Flash does not fire

Open the flash unit (page 20).

 

Check the flash setting and change as needed (page 20).

 

 

Storage location is

Transfer pictures to the computer (page 51).

almost or entirely full

Delete pictures from the card or insert a new one (page 7).

 

Change image storage location to internal memory

 

(page 29).

 

 

Battery life is short

Wipe the contacts with a clean, dry cloth (page 64) before

 

inserting a battery in the camera.

 

Insert a charged battery (page 2).

 

 

You cannot take a

Turn the camera off, then on again.

Depress shutter button all the way (page 8).

 

Insert a charged battery (page 2).

 

Wait until the AF/AE indicator turns green before attempting

 

to take another picture.

 

Memory full. Transfer pictures to the computer (page 51),
