	Troubleshooting
If...	Try one or more of the following
Flash does not fire	■ Open the flash unit (page 20).
	■ Check the flash setting and change as needed (page 20).
Storage location is	■ Transfer pictures to the computer (page 51).
almost or entirely full	■ Delete pictures from the card or insert a new one (page 7).
	■ Change image storage location to internal memory
	(page 29).
Battery life is short	■ Wipe the contacts with a clean, dry cloth (page 64) before
	inserting a battery in the camera.
	■ Insert a charged battery (page 2).
You cannot take a	■ Turn the camera off, then on again.
picture	■ Depress shutter button all the way (page 8).
	■ Insert a charged battery (page 2).
	■ Wait until the AF/AE indicator turns green before attempting
	to take another picture.
	■ Memory full. Transfer pictures to the computer (page 51),
	delete pictures from the camera (page 39) or card, change
	image storage location, or insert a new card.
Error message	■ Turn the camera off.
appears on EVF/LCD	■ Remove memory card from the camera.
screen	■ Remove the battery and wipe the contacts with a clean, dry
	cloth (page 64).
	■ Reinstall the battery.
	■ Turn on the camera.
	■ If all else fails, get customer support help (see page 60).
Memory card not	■ Card may be corrupted. Format card in camera (see page 7).
recognized or camera	■ Use another memory card.
freezes with card.
