The computer does
not communicate
with the camera.
■Turn on the camera (see page 3).
■Make sure the battery is fully charged (see page2).
■Connect the USB cable to camera and computer port (see page 37 ).
■Install the software (see page36).
■Disconnect the USB cable. Close all software applications. Re-install
the software (see page 36).
■Disconnect camera from the computer. Close all software applications,
reconnect camera.
Cannot transfer
pictures.
(The Add New
Hardware Wizard
cannot locate
drivers.)
■Disconnect the USB cable. (If using camera dock or printer d ock,
disconnect cable and remove camera from dock). Close all open
applications. Re-install the software (see page36).
■Disconnect the USB cable. Close all software applications. Re-install
the software (see page 36).
■Reboot the computer.
■Try a not he r co mpu te r.
Slide show stops or
does n ot r un o n an
external video
device.
■Adjust the camera Video Out setting NTSC or PAL (see page 33).
■Make sure the external device settings are correct. (See the device’s
user’s guide.)
