Picture-taking modes
Use this mode For
Auto General picture-taking—offers an excellent balance of image quality
and ease of use.
Sport Subjects that are in motion. Shutter speed is fast.
Night
Portrait
Reduces red eye of people in night scenes or low -light conditions.
Place the camera on a flat, steady surface or use a tripo d.
Scene Point-and-shoot simplicity when taking pictures u nder special
conditions (see page23).
Program Controlling the exposure compensation, flash compe nsation (how
much light enters the camera), and ISO speed. Th e camera
automatically sets the shutter speed and aperture (f-number) based
on th e sc en e li gh ti ng. Pr og ram mo de o ff er s th e e ase of au to s ho oti ng
with full access to all menu options. Use the Jo g dial to select and
adjust settings (see page31). Press the Menu button to change other
settings.
