4. Installation Checkout

Ensure that both faucet handles are turned off. Hot is clockwise close and cold is counterclockwise close.

Turn on the hot and cold water supplies.

Check for leaks.

Remove the aerator body, aerator insert, and washer from the spout by turning it counterclockwise.

Turn on the hot and cold faucet handles.

Run the water for about one minute to remove any debris. Turn off the hot and cold faucet handles.

Place the aerator insert and then the washer into the aerator body. Reinstall the aerator by turning it clockwise until hand tight. Check for leaks.
