왘Without looking into the eye-
pieces, turn the eyelens of the
adjustable eyepiece as far as
possible in the “+” direction.
왘Close the eye that is looking
into the fixed eyepiece and
look into the adjustable
eyepiece with the other eye.
왘View the test object and
slowly turn the eyelens clock-
wise (the “–” direction) until
the object is in focus.
왘Set the microscope to
maximum magnification.
왘View the test object with both
eyes and bring it into sharp
focus with the focusing drive.
View the object while zooming
from minimum to maximum magni-
fication.
• The object should remain in
constant focus (parfocal) at all
times. If it does not, please
repeat the procedure above.
