왘For Leica S6 D and S8 APO, set pinion knob to
Vis position.
왘Set approximate working distance by means of
focusing drive (working distances of various
objectives see p.38–40).
왘Set up lighting
왘Set viewing distance (p.23).
왘Set ‘0’ diopters on both eyepieces.
왘Place flat test object under
the objective.
왘Set lowest magnification.
왘View test object through
the eyepiece and focus
using the focusing drive.
왘Set highest magnification.
왘Optimize sharpness using the focusing drive.
