왘Set lowest magnification.
왘Do not look into the eyepiece!
왘Turn lens counterclockwise in
the ‘+’ direction until it stops.
왘Now look into the eyepiece.
왘Close one eye.
왘With the other eye, observe
the test object and turn the
lens slowly clockwise in the ‘–’
direction, until this eye sees
the object clearly.
왘Set the diopter for the other
eye in the same way.
왘Select highest magnification.
왘View object and, if necessary,
gently refocus.
왘Adjust magnification changer
from the lowest to the highest
magnification.
• When doing this, the sharp-
ness must remain constant
over the entire zoom range
(parfocal). Otherwise,
please repeat the procedure.
