An optional memory card can be purchased separately and attached to the system board. To install the memory

card:

1Turn the printer off.

2Access the system board.

3Unpack the memory card.

Note: Avoid touching the connection points along the edge of the card.

4Align the memory card with its co nnector on the system boa rd.

5Push open the latches on both ends of the memory connector.

Warning—Potential Damage: Memory cards are easily damaged by static electricit y. Touch a grounded metal

surface before you touch a m emory card.

Note: Memory cards designed for oth er printers may not work with your printe r.

6Push the memory card into the connector until the latches click into place.
