4Press the tabs on the front and top of the printer to release the side door.

5Swing the side door away from the printer, and then slide the door toward the back of the

printer to remove it.

6Set the door aside.

7Locate the shield on the side of the printer.

8Loosen the six screws on the shield, but do not remove the screws completely.
