21 Cleaning the printhead lens
You can solve some print quality problems by cleaning the printhead lens.
1Turn the printer off.
2Open the upper front door and the multipurpose feeder door.
3Remove the print cartridge. See Replacing the print cartridge.
4Locate the glass printhead lens.
5Gently wipe the printhead lens with a clean, dry, lint-free cloth.
6Reinstall the print cartridge.
7Close the upper front door, and then the multipurpose feeder door.
8Turn the printer on.
