Accessing the Menu

-Conn. type [Menu 8-4-1-2-3]

The options for connection type are Temporary or Continuous and depend on the gateway you are using.

Continuous [Menu 8-4-1-2-3-1]

A confirmed delivery mechanism but generates more network traffic.

Temporary [Menu 8-4-1-2-3-2]

A non-confirmed (connectionless) service.

A few handsets may set the type using a numeric key as follows:

9200	connectionless non-secure connection
	(Temporary).
9201	connection-orientated non-secure connection
	(Continuous).

-Conn. security [Menu 8-4-1-2-4]

The options are On and Off depending on the gateway you are using.

A few handsets may set the type using a numeric key as follows:

9202	connectionless secure connection.
9203	connection-orientated secure connection.
