PROBLEM SOILS
1Remove sugar, melted plastic, aluminum foil, or other meltable materials with a glass scraper immediately and while still hot. Failure to do so can cause permanent damage to the cooktop surface. If the Cooking Zone has already cooled down, warm it up again.
IMPORTANT: There is a risk of burning yourself when the glass scraper is used on a hot Cooking Zone. Use care and wear an oven mitt.
2Then clean the cooktop normally when it has cooled down.
NOTE: Scratches or dark marks on the ceramic- glass surface caused by a pan base with sharp edges cannot be removed. However, they do not impair the function of the cooktop.
