RS232 EVENTS
If set to ENABLE, the unit passes information regarding its internal status to an external device that accepts RS232 data.
Options: ENABLE, DISABLE
Default setting: DISABLE
Select SAVE to save your changes and return to the GENERAL SETUP menu.
UNIDISK source
The EXOTIK’s defaults are set to accept a UNIDISK player as a source (see Using the EXOTIK with a Linn UNIDISK player, page 16). Use these menus if you are using different back panel inputs to the default settings shown below.
ANALOG SOURCE
Options: ANALOG GROUP, NONE
Default setting: ANALOG GROUP
Select BACK to return to the GENERAL SETUP menu without saving changes.
Select EXIT to leave setup (if changes have been made and SAVE has not been selected, you will be prompted to save or not save the changes).
Select SAVE to save your changes and return to the MAIN MENU.
Select BACK to return to the MAIN MENU without saving changes.
Select EXIT to leave setup (if changes have been made and SAVE has not been selected, you will be prompted to save or not save the changes).
DIGITAL SOURCE*
Options: SPDIF 1, TOS (TOSLINK) 1, NONE
Default setting: TOS 1
Notes:
If you wish to use an input that is not shown above, enter the Source Setup menu, select the input you require and set TYPE to NONE (see pages 9 and 10). When you return to the UNIDISK Source menu the new input will be available.
If you are not using a UNIDISK player and wish to use any of the inputs shown above, set ANALOG SOURCE and DIGITAL SOURCE* to NONE.
Setting the item(s) to NONE also means that when you are using the SOURCE
Select SAVE to save your changes and return to the MAIN MENU.
Select BACK to return to the MAIN MENU without saving changes.
Select EXIT to leave setup (if changes have been made and SAVE has not been selected, you will be prompted to save or not save the changes).
