10.Select Execute Alarm Origination Test from the Alarm Origination Test screen.
The system displays the following messages:
Alarm Origination tests may take up to 5 minutes to complete. This test will be run in the background.
Press <y> to confirm.
Press <n> to cancel.
11.Enter y
The system returns to the Alarm Origination Test screen.
12.Wait approximately 1 minute.
13.Select Review Latest Test Results from the Alarm Origination Test screen.

14.Verify that the Alarm Origination Test Results screen does not contain any error messages such as “Alarm port busy”.
If you see any error messages, contact your remote maintenance center or see INTUITY Platform Administration and Maintenance.
15.Press F6 (Cancel) to return to the Alarm Origination Test Results screen.
16.Wait approximately 4 minutes.
17.Select Review Latest Test Results.
