In the example shown, this CD-ROM has 10 albums (folders) but albums 03 and 08 do not contain MP3 files and so are not played.

In the example shown, this CD-ROM has 17 tracks starting with track "01" and ending with track "17."

Only those files with the ".mp3" extension are played; files with the .wav, .jpg, .doc and other extensions are skipped.

Album 01 is allocated even when there are no files in the root.

The sequence may differ from the one that appears on the personal computer. It may also differ depending on the software used.

MP3 FILE PLAYBACK

Playing Albums in sequence

1.As with a music CD, place the disc recorded using the MP3 files on the CD drive disc tray and retract the disc tray.

2.Press the CD drive Play/Pause button . Play now starts playing files in sequence from the first Album on a folder-by-folder basis*

Selecting Albums and files for play back

Select the desired Album (on a folder-by-folder basis*) and track (file*):

1.From Stop, press and release or to tab through Albums (folders).

2.Turn the REC/LEVEL SELECT control to tab through tracks within the selected Album. (There is a three second time-out to Pause cued to the selected Album and track. Press Play to begin Play.)

3.During playback press and hold or to fast reverse or fast forward, or

4.press and release repeatedly to step through Albums. (There is a 3 second time-out to Play.)

5.During playback turn the REC LEVEL/ SELECT control to step through tracks. (There is a 3 second time-out to Play.)

*See example play sequence in the box to the left.

The following play back features are not available during MP3 play back:

Program play

End monitor

Auto cue

Change of time mode (TIME button)

End warning

Random play is Album by Album not track (file) by track.
